Videos
Videos are a great way to learn more about Jesus and the story of God. However, there is so much information out there that it can be difficult to find where to start. That being said, here are some Biblical and Gospel-centric videos and YouTube channels that I recommend watching to increase your knowledge of the faith:
1. Bible Project
BibleProject is a YouTube channel that creates animated videos to better understand the Bible and God’s story. They have some great videos out there, a few of which I’ll link below. Many of their videos answer common questions about the Christian faith that you may have, so I’d recommend checking them out.
2. Amen Podcast
Amen Podcast is run by a husband and wife, Alex and Lokelani Wilson. They host a house church in Kauai, Hawaii, and also post their sermons and other content online. They do a great job of explaining Biblical concepts and stories, and they are engaging and relatable. I especially recommend their catechism series, which are shorts teachings that summarize important truths:
3. College Ave Church
As my home church, I can confidently say that College Ave has great teaching and community. It focuses on the major truths of the Christian faith while exploring certain aspects in detail. If you don’t have a home church and are in the San Diego area, I highly recommend checking it out. Here are some of my favorite sermons/messages including some targeted more at young adults:
These are just some resources you can use to gain a better understand of Christianity. I urge you to explore other avenues to increase in knowledge and faith as you continue in this endeavor. If you have any other video or YouTube channel recommendations, please reach out and let me know! I would also love feedback on the videos above and how I could better cater towards those curious about the Christian faith. Keep exploring!
